About

Duration: 1 hour | CEU Points awarded: 1 General (CEUs), Level 1, Accreditation Number: PPB007/2025/01/014 Principles of Rehab and Training Rehabilitation is not just a final step in recovery—it should be seamlessly integrated throughout every stage of a patient’s healing journey. This one-hour accredited CPD course is designed for physiotherapists who want to sharpen their understanding of foundational rehabilitation principles and their practical application. In this course, you will explore what happens to tissue during each phase of healing, from acute injury to functional return. You’ll learn how to apply both therapeutic modalities and exercises effectively by understanding local and systemic factors that influence tissue healing. We’ll walk you through the six key components of a comprehensive rehabilitation plan: range of motion, flexibility, muscular strength, endurance and power, proprioception and neuromuscular control, cardiorespiratory endurance, and functional progressions. These elements are examined in detail, with a strong emphasis on patient-specific adaptation. By the end of the session, you’ll be able to develop individualized rehabilitation programs that address each phase of healing and meet the unique needs of your patients.
